My do-it-all camera that I use in 99% of my videos. Can film up to 120fps in 4K. Not as good for photos but workable.

The best focal length for vlogging and shooting landscapes. 90% of everything is filmed on this.

A prime lens that’ll get you the crispest, smoothest looking photos imaginable. 85mm makes it perfect for street photography.

My first telephoto lens. Heavy but worth it.

Hands down the best tripod I’ve ever used. Lightweight, super strong and so quick to setup.

Small camera that packs a punch! 24-200mm, 20MGP images, 4K video - all in my pocket.

Great quality audio and simple setup. Connects to camera via audio jack or to smart phone via lightning/USB-C jack. Picks up audio from a crazy distance and can also record internally just in case.

All from Peak Design. Keeps your gear protected and organised and as usual, they’re of impeccable quality. I use the medium but Smedium would probably be better for me personally.

DJI’s best drone for high quality photos and videos, strong connection and stable against the wind.

The perfect shotgun microphone for all occasions - from loud to quiet, indoor to outdoor. I use it with a deadcat to cut out all wind noise.

I don’t use action cameras often but when I do, I want a 360 camera for versatility and Insta360 has the best cameras in this category. The X4 allows exporting in 4K at 9:16 resolution.

Probably the best bag that’s meant for hiking AND camera gear. Will probably only use it for 1 or 2 night hikes as it’s a little heavier than a regular hiking bag. High quality and incredibly functional. Make sure to watch their “fitting” video to make sure it’s sitting right on you.

Beautifully clear, no colour cast, 2-5 stop variable ND filter. Has a slight black mist but barely noticable - just makes everything look soft and buttery. Used with a step up ring to make it fit all of my lenses.

A wonderfully minimal, strong and easy-to-access camera bag. I have the 30L version but in hindsight, the 20L would’ve fit my body size better.

The easiest way to keep me hands-free while I’m out shooting.

Saves my camera in case I drop it or do something stupid lol. Minimal, clean design and easy to take on/off with the PD clips.

Post Production

Where 100% of my work is created. Fast enough to handle all of the editing and data transfer I do daily.

Over-ear headphones to keep all the noise out while editing. I love the way it looks and sounds but it’s very heavy so I can’t wear it for extended periods of time.

I own 8x of these hard drives for long-term storage of all my files, footage and photos, using 1x as my main and another for backup.

When I need faster transfer speeds while editing or while storing files while travelling, I’ll use this. Transfer speeds on SSDs are much faster and sturdier than their mechanical counterparts but shouldn’t be relied on for long term storage.

Software

Simple, reliable and available as a one-time purchase.

I don’t personally like Adobe but what are you gonna do?

It’s like an easier, simpler version of Photoshop. What I use to make my thumbnails.

A wonderful online tool that I use to create all kinds of PDFs, media-kits, and even my travel guide e-book.

Camping

Bought second-hand in Japan with 28,000kms on it. Such a fun car!

The most comfortable camping experience you’ll ever have. 10 second set up, comfortable mattress and ladder included.

Strong, waterproof, easy to setup and pack away. Perfect for sunny or rainy days to protect you from the elements while camping.

Heavy but packs a lot of power. Charges while I drive, keeps the refrigerator running 24/7 and charges all my camera gear on the go.

Clothing

Made from recycled plastic bottles, flattering fit, comfortable and high quality. I own multiple pieces from them.

Waterproof, strong, and versatile. I treat it like crap but it still looks brand new. Worn everyday in winter for daily activities, all the way to hiking in harsh environments. 100% worth every dollar.

Once I tried these on, I realised that I didn’t want to wear any other leggings for the rest of my life. If you know, you know.

The comfiest trail running shoes I’ve ever tried! The toe box is super wide so your toes don’t get squashed. Ran a 30km race in these after not really breaking them in and had zero blisters.

The cutest rain-jacket I’ve ever owned. Smooth fabric, comfortable and works as a hardshell over a fleece jacket for winter. Not available in yellow anymore.

It’s so hard to find insulated pants for women and these have been a game-changer. I thought it was impossible but I’m now finally warm in winter. I feel unstoppable in these pants.

Lightweight, sturdy, simple. No internal pockets however so everything kinda jumbles together which is annoying.

I have yet to find a good pair of hiking boots that I love so I usually just use trail runners.
